Similarly, a daytime facial cream containing vitamin C is an excellent choice for evening skincare.
Cleansers are part of your skincare routine. Whether you use a mild soap, or a cleansing mask, a good cleanser should be mild enough not to dry out your skin. Ideally, it should contain no perfume, no drying agents, and no chemicals. You should always rinse your face in warm water, using cool water (not cold) to close pores and stop inflammation. If you have active breakouts, you can also use a natural astringent like witch hazel to help relieve irritation.
Skincare serums and gels can be purchased individually, or as part of a skincare system, like my Revitol vitamin refill system. I prefer to purchase several of each kind, as each one addresses a different problem area. For example, my serum contains salicylic acid, which is great at combating acne, but I also want to include an exfoliator so that my dead skin cells can be removed easily. I also use a vitamin B5 moisturizer for extra softness. A vitamin A facial scrub is great for removing dead, dingy skin.
