Like I’ve said many, many, many, MANY times on Funkytional, there is no right way to parent. Everyone and every child is different and it’s these differences that make the world so exciting and great!
Because there is so much variation in parenting styles and child development, I need your help to make this blog as inclusive and broad as possible. If you’ve got a really interesting story, advice that differs from my own or something you’d like to recommend then I’d love to feature your work here on Funkytional. All you have to do is get in touch with me and we’ll discuss it further.
I don’t ask for much, I like to keep my guest bloggers as creative as possible and I don’t believe that could be done with rigid rules in place. However, there are a few things you should consider.
The Content
Please bear in mind that Funkytional is a family focused blog, as such, whatever you write needs to be in a similar vein to content I’ve already got on the site. Not exactly the same! Where’s the fun in that?! But anything parent related, family focused, child friendly, education based etc. is absolutely fine and I love reading what other people have to say!
The Specs
Please make your blog around 500 words long or more. 500 words is an ideal length to get your point across concisely but effectively, but if it’s longer that’s fine too! My only reason for setting a word count is so you don’t write something ridiculously short and uninformative that I have to turn down. So 500 words minimum please.
Apart from that, you’re good to go! I’m really looking forward to hearing what everyone has to offer so please, please, please get in touch using the contact form below and we can begin to discuss what we can do for each other!
